FaithTalk adult education is offered at 9:00 a.m. by Zoom (we hope to return to in-person FaithTalk soon!). Topics vary, and are announced in the weekly News & Notes email.
A book club meets in the evening on the fourth Sunday of every month; book club selections are decided by the group and announced well in advance. Everyone is welcome – regardless of whether you finished the book!
A Bible study group meets on Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:30 a.m. for a look at the lectionary readings for the following Sunday. We read orally, imagine the settings in which these passages took place and their significance to the people involved, and discuss the meanings in our daily lives. It is also a time for a little fellowship and mutual support, for remembering in prayer those in need, and for offering our thanksgivings–a really great personal boost for each of us!
If you are interested in helping to plan adult education activities, please feel free to join the Adult Ministries Commission. Long term participation in the commission is wonderful, but project or seasonal work is welcome too!
